CBCE 2017 – A Must-see Event for the Craft Beer Industry

According to the analyses of the National Bureau of Statistics of the People’s Republic of China, the overall output of the beer industry in China in 2015 dropped by 5.06% compared to the same period in 2014. Meanwhile the output of craft beer enjoyed a YOY increase of 54.55% and has maintained a growth rate of more than 50% in the recent 4 years. With the increasing awareness of craft beer in the local market, a craft beer fever came up in China with local brands emerging and foreign companies swarming to establish offices in China. Obviously craft beer will become a new market segment for brands to compete for.

The exciting beginning of CBCE 2017
CRAFT BEER CHINA 2017 Conference & Exhibition (CBCE), jointly organized by NürnbergMesse China Co., Ltd. and The Beer Link, is an influential international event for the craft beer domestic as well as for the international industry players. As a part of the Beviale Family that is leaded by the internationaly well known BrauBeviale in Nuremberg, CBCE enjoies this strong background and knowledge in the beer and bevereage industry. The first edition of CBCE was successfully held from May 26 to 27, 2016 at Pullman Shanghai South Hotel. Apart from the enriching convention and exhibition, a series of exciting activities were also concurrently held: visits to breweries, sales promotion and book signings as well as a, cruise tour along the Huangpu River and beer tastings. The event attracted experienced brewers and beer tasters as well as established craft beer producers and suppliers. All of them gave a high reputation to CBCE which actaully is an exklusive platform for the craft beer indutry in China.

According to Ms. Zhang Heng, project director of the organizer NürnbergMesse China Co., Ltd., CBCE 2017 will be held in Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center to be prepared for high-level exhibition needs of a growing number of exhibitors and to be able to welcome more professionals of the craft beer industry. With a higher level and a larger scale, the upcoming CBCE will be held from May 17 to 19, 2017. Professionals will have more opportunities to share views with acclaimed experts and industrial leaders. Besides, it will showcase the whole craft beer industry chain from raw materials, production equipment and technologies, to packaging technologies and design, as well as logistics, warehousing and nightclub facilities. The success of the last edition triggers an enthusiastic response for the interest in CBCE 2017. Last year's exhibitors like Talos, Yakima, Carolina, Fermentis, Thonhauser GmbH, White Labs, Ningbo HGM, SBI, METO and Beijing Weijiachaung have already confirmed their space for the upcoming edition. On top we expect more than 50 new exhibitors and are happy to have companies like Country Malt Group, O.Salm&Co GmbH, LALLEMAND, Yantai Tongxin, Brander Urstoff, Hochi Machinery that are from U.S.A., Germany, U.K., Canada, Italy, Spain and China, already on board.
